About Jamie

Jamie Davis was raised in southeast Idaho and graduated from the University of Idaho in Moscow.  In January 2004 she moved to Sandpoint to accept a job with the Idaho Association of Soil Conservation Districts, an organization that works cooperatively with property owners who want to protect their soils.

Jamie is vice-chair of the Panhandle Stormwater and Education Program (SEEP) Board of Directors, one of the SEEP class instructors, is on the steering committee for the Pend Oreille/Priest Lake*A*Syst (Lakeshore Assessment System) program, and is a graduate of the Leadership Idaho Agriculture program.  She currently works for the Coeur d’Alene Tribe in their Lake Management Department, and continues to work part time with conservation districts in the Sandpoint area.

Jamie has worked with City of Sandpoint Public Works and Parks and Recreation Departments on natural resource projects including shoreline planting, stormwater treatment, and parks management review and recommendations.  Jamie continues to work collaboratively with City staff to identify and pursue positive efforts to enhance the community and protect the water quality of Lake Pend Oreille.

In her free time, Jamie enjoys outdoor activities, reading, and gardening.  She frequently spends time with friends camping, hiking, huckleberry picking, boating, and playing in the snow.  Jamie also enjoys discussing local issues with friends in downtown Sandpoint and attending events at the Panida.
